Hi, I’m Megan. I grew up in Ireland and now live in Melbourne. I hold a BA (Hons) in Social Care Practice and currently work in disability and behaviour support services. I come from a close-knit family, which is where my love for working with children began, and I really value creating safe, supportive environments where children feel comfortable and cared for. I have extensive experience caring for children of all ages, from babies and toddlers through to school-aged children, including children with additional needs such as autism and intellectual disability. I’m confident with all aspects of care including nappies, bottle feeding, settling routines, supporting nap times, toileting, meals, and helping children regulate their emotions. I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and clear communication. I’ve worked in regular, ongoing roles with families, schools, and early learning settings, supporting children in their daily routines. This has included school drop-offs and pick-ups, homework support, structured play, and working closely with parents to ensure continuity of care. I love keeping things fun and engaging and enjoy arts and crafts, imaginative play, reading, park visits, library trips, playgrounds, and outings such as the zoo or local cafés. I also enjoy supporting children’s learning, including early literacy, numeracy, and school readiness where needed. I’m caring, reliable, and calm, and I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your family. I look forward to meeting you and your little ones.
