Sittr has strict requirements for the approval of carers. Before creating your profile, please ensure that you have copies of the following documents before continuing:
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) details or the equivalent for your state. If you don't have a working with children check, find out more here.
- First Aid Certificate. Sittr requires a recent, accredited Senior First Aid course (e.g. HLTAID011 or HLTAID012). If you don't have a Senior First Aid certification, find out more here. If you are a medical practitioner, paramedic or registered nurse you can submit your current AHPRA registation certificate instead.
- A copy of your driver's license or passport to complete our identity and payment verification process.

Complete Your Profile
Complete your carer profile and once approved by the Sittr team you're available to start accepting jobs from parents. Your profile is public so you can also share it with existing clients, friends and family, on social media or anywhere else parents are looking for carers.
Get Matched to Jobs
When parents are looking for carers, our system matches them with the top carers that meet their needs. This means that if you log in regularly, keep your profile up to date, respond to booking requests promptly, and complete more bookings through Sittr, you'll be matched to more families, increasing your earning potential.
Accept Jobs
Parents send a booking request to their chosen carer or post a job and make payment once you accept the booking. This means that at the end of the job, you just need to complete the booking in the App and your earnings are transferred to your bank account. No more awkward conversations about payment.
