I am pleased to provide this reference for Rachel Mallas, who has worked as a Family Day Care Educator.
In my role as an Educator Support Officer with The Infants’ Home Family Day Care, I have had the opportunity to support educators in their practice, and I am happy to provide this reference for Rachel as she pursues new employment opportunities.
Rachel has experience in providing care and education for young children within a home-based setting. Working in Family Day Care requires patience, compassion, flexibility, organisation and a strong sense of responsibility, and these are important qualities when supporting children and their families.
A key part of working with children is creating a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment where children feel secure, respected and valued. It is also important to build positive relationships with families, recognise each child's individual needs and interests, and provide opportunities for children to learn, explore and develop through play.
Rachel's experience in Family Day Care has provided her with an understanding of the importance of children's safety, wellbeing and development, as well as the responsibility involved in providing quality care.
I wish Rachel all the very best in her future career and hope that she finds success and fulfilment in her next role. I am pleased to provide this reference in support of her application for new employment.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further information.
Kind regards,
Peggy
Educator Support Officer (ESO)
The Infants’ Home Family Day Care
I first met Rachel when she cared for my then two-year-old daughter at daycare, and she later became our babysitter before running a successful nanny-share from our home for nearly two years. She went on to establish her own registered family daycare, where her creativity, patience and genuine understanding of children made her a sought-after educator with a never ending waitlist.
Rachel is kind, clever, endlessly creative and, most importantly, children absolutely adore her. Shes just great fun to be around. I trust her completely with my children and wholeheartedly recommend her as an exceptionally experienced (and very overqualified!) babysitter.
I’m so happy to recommend Rachel. She has looked after my two children since they were babies (now 2 and 4), and they absolutely adore her. She has a lovely way with children, and I feel completely comfortable having her care for them.
Having run her own family daycare, she brings valuable experience caring for children and understanding their needs. We’re lucky to know her, and I’d happily recommend her to any family looking for a warm, experienced carer!
Rachel prefers a maximum number of 5 children per booking.
